Abstract

Atopic dermatitis (AD) is the most acceptable term in the sense of dermstitis with atopy. Clinically, atopic dermatitis is a chronic fluctuating diesese which may occur at any age. The cause of atopic dermatities its still unknown and the clinical manifestations seem to depend an complex inter relationship between immunologic, genetic, psychological and pharmacologic features. AD is often associated with skin colonization by staph. aureus. In many cases these bacteria are known to produce superantigen, which have the capacity to directly activate T cells bearing appropriate TCR VB domains.
