Abstract
The present work deals with the subsurface formation evaluation of kafr el sheihk and Abu Madi Formations encountered in six wells (Mit Ghamr-1, Sindy-1 , San El Hager-1 , Monga-1, Tarif-1 and Qantara S-1) Scattered in the study area , east of the Nile Delta. The area under study is located between Damietta branch and ASuez canel. The sedimentary Sequence ranges in age from Cretaceous to Recent . The investigated section includes Kafer El- Sheikh and Abu madi formations of pliocence age The Fonner is Mainly composed of shale beds . the most important conclusions revealed from this study can be summarized as follows.
