Abstract
In the present study we analyzed the data on the fasting levels of serum leptin in non obese and obese children with type I diabetes mellitus and study the relationship between serum levels of leptin and insulin in these patients.In. the present study increased levels of insulin and leptin were found in lean IDDM children than lean controls and there was positive correlation between insulin and leptin levels .in those children.The serum levels of leptin were significantly higher in obese control children than lean controls.In
