Abstract This study was carried out at the Experimental Farm of the Fac. Agric., Kafer EL-Shikh, Tanta University, during the two seasons of 199811999 and 199912000, to study the effect of commercial biofertilizers ( biogen, netroben and serialen ) on the vegetative growth, seed yield, oil production, and chemical composition of Foeniculunz vulgare Mill and Anethum graveolens, L. All the field experiment received 10 m3 I fed organic manure, biofertilizer are utilized at the three different dates for each. The results can be summarized as follows: Part one: The effect of commercial biofertilizers on Foeniculum vulgare Mill. -All used biofertilizer treatments increased all the parameters such as plant height, number of leaves I plant, the fresh and d~wye ight of vegetative growth/plant, number 1 I I of branches, number of umbels/plant, the weight of umbels / plant, hits weightlplant and the weight of 100 fruits with significant differences in most cases. The best results obtained from the treatments of serialen 2, biogen 2, biogen 3 and netroben 3. -The different commercial biofertilizers increased the volatile oil % in the seeds, the oil yield / plant and the oil yield I fed. The best treatment was serialen 2 .. -The different commercial biofertilizers increased the N, P and K % in the leaves with significant differences in most cases. The best results were observed for the treatments of serialen 2 and netroben 3 while the N % increased with non-significant differences. This result obtained from the treatment of serialen 2. Part ttyo: The effect of commercial biofertilizers on Arzetltzinz nraveolerts, L. -All used treatments of commercial biofertilizers increased the plant height, number of leaves / plant, the fresh and dry weight of vegetative growth /plant, number of branches/plant, number of umbels / plant, the weight of umbels / plant, fruits weightlplant and the weight of 100 fruits with significant differences in most cases. The best results obtained from the treatments of serialen 2, biogen 3 and netroben 3. -The different commercial biofertilizers increased the volatile oil % in the seeds, the oil yield I plant, and the oil yield / fed. The best results were observed for the treatments of serialen 2 and netroben 3. |
