Abstract
Land snails are considered serious pests attacking several economic crops, particularly at coastal areas due to high humidity. Recently, snails have spread in many governorates of Lower Egypt, resulting in much loss to field crops, vegetables, fruit trees, and ornamentals at Kafr El-SheikhGovemorate. Accordingly, much concern was directed towards these pests. The current study aimed at collecting ecological information that contributes in planning an integrated control program to limit the dangers of snails. The study was conducted for three years, 1995, 1996 and 1997 at Fac. Agric., Kafr El-Sheikh, Tanta Univ., and other fields.
