Abstract The present study aimed to survey-the different pests infesting watermelon and pepper crops as well as the predators associated with .The seasonal abundance of key pests attacking watermelon and pepper plantations, their associated predators with the relation between their abundance under certain ecological factors such as temperature and relative humidity. Toxicity of certain compounds including pesticides (fenitrothion and etoxazole), mineral oil (Kz-oil), plant oils extracted from citrus such as (baladi mandarin, sour orange, acidless orange and blue gum), microbial pesticides (Biofly and Agerin) and mixtures of [Kz-oil with plant oils and microbial pesticides] against T. fabaci Lind. nymphs, A. gossypii Glover adults and T. urticae Koch adult females were evaluated under laboratory conditions. B Also, the toxic effect of these tested compounds individually and in mixtures against T. tahaci, A. gossypii, B. fabaci, Empoasca sp., Tetranychus sp. and their predators on watermelon and pepper plantations has been done under field conditions.1n addition to, the subsequent effect on the net weights of watermelon seeds and pepper fruits (yield). Pesticides residues determination for (fenitrothion and etoxazole) in watermelon seeds and pepper fruits under treated plants. |
