Abstract

The aim of this work is divided into three main parts, part one includes analysis of the allowable geophsical data-Bouguer and total intensity aeromagnetic maps - in order to get more informations about the aree under investigation which lies between Latitudes 22 30 N and Longitudes 31 00 and 33 00 E and part two includes modeling for the structures which were determind in part one depending on the dipping dyke case. Also, in this work I made a model for the gravity using a trapezoidal form which can be used in the case of sedimentary rocks which are represented in the area under investigation. Part three includes comparison of the results which we have already got from part one and part two.
In this work, in order to get more informations about this area which lies in the Western Desert of Egypt, the following items are studied:-
1- Working a reduction to the pole tranformation.
2- Drawing residual, regional, second derivative and downward continuation maps at levels one kilometer and two kilometers for gravity and aeromagnetic data.
3- Application of powell, Koulomozine, Durantny and Atchta methods to get the dyke parameters in the studing area.
4- Determination of the fault parameters by application of Stanley’ method.
5- Drawing maps for horizontal and vertical gradients, analytical signal and phase angle.
The working out of all these previous items, gives very important informations on the area, a matter which may help researchers and authorities planning to work in this region.
