Abstract
Conclusion and Recommendation
Several factors are associated with a higher incidence of left
ventricular thrombi after first acute anterior MI. These factors include:
higher initial end-systolic and end-diastolic volume, lower initial
ejection fraction, a higher wall motion score index, killip class >1, a
higher peak CRP, a higher peak CK-MB and higher peak troponin-T.
We recommended that those patients should be followed up
echocardiographically every month and must be received oral
anticoagulant therapy.
Limitation
1- Small number of patients.
2- Small number of the female (9 patients) so the relation between
sex and LVT can’t be predicted.
