Abstract The success of agricultural projects are depending the success of management ways. One of the most manage~nent objectives is to choose the proper machine which will perform the work requirement at the proper time with a minimum cost. Therefore, suitable plans should be laid for the success of agricultural project. Potatoes are considered as one of the most important vegetable crops not only in Egypt but also in the world. Many systems are using in producing potatoes in Egypt. Therefore. performance evaluation of these systems are very essential. The present study was conducted to evaluate the performance of three different systems which are using in potato production as complete production lines for planting and harvesting operations. The present study was conducted on two integrated stages. The first one was the field experimental procedure to studv the effect of forward speed and type of planting machine on efficiency of some indicators. The second one was the field experimental procedure to study the effect of forward speed and type of harvesting machine on efficiency of some indicators. |
