Abstract
This study was a prospective study of 200 female and 200 male patients referred for coronary angiography. It took a month and a half to acquire 200 male patients who underwent coronary angiography ?PCI and six months to acquire 200 female patients who underwent coronary angiography ?PCI. The data of the patients were gathered from Ain Shams University and Dar El Fouad hospitals.
AIM OF THIS WORK
• The purpose of this work was to study the anatomy of coronary arteries in women by the means of coronary angiography in comparison to men.
• Results of percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) and in hospital outcomes will be studied and compared to men.
