Abstract The wrist is complex joint. It is the most commonly injured joint in the human body because of its great mobility and function. Wrist pain is a common clinical complaint attributed to many causes including abnormality of bone, cartilage, ligament and tendons. Imaging this complicated area may also be extremely difficult. The radiographic evaluation of patient with wrist pain includes, plain radiography, bone scintigraphy, videofluoroscopy, ultrasonography may also be used to evaluate tendon abnormalities and wrist masses, computed tomography (CT) and Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). |
