المستخلص Rhinoplasty was the earliest and most commonly performed facial cosmetic operation. There are two main approaches for rhinoplasty, the closed (internal or endonasal) approach and open (external) approach. In our study regarding assessment of operative and post operative findings of open (external) rhinoplasty technique in management of different nasal deformities we notice that, operative time was longest in group B and shortest in group C. And bleeding was maximal in group B and minimal in group C. most of the cases have no postoperative edema 1 week postoperatively. Most of the cases have patent airway postoperatively. Regarding correction of deformity we can state that ”open rhinoplasty” significantly corrected the 3 types of nasal deformities. Regarding the complications, generally they are mild and easily managed. So we can conclude that, open (external) rhinoplasty technique is a suitable operation for most types of nasal deformities. |
