Abstract
The present work aims to detect the relation between the performance properties ,and this is achieved through choosing nine base oil samples ,either locally produced or impoted ones,they are:
- Three neutral base oil samples produced by Alexandria mineral oils company(AMOC) which are : AMOC SN 150,AMOC SN 220/240 and AMOC SN 400/500
- Two neutral base oil samples produced by Amerya petroleum refining company which are : Amerya 140/160 and Amerya 260/290
- Two imported neutral base oil samples which are: imported core 145 neutral base oil sample and imported noncore 300 neutral base oil sample
- Two bright stock base oil samples which are: one locally produced sample (From Alexandria Petroleum company) which is bright stock NO 4 ,(LBS-4) and imported core 2500 bright stock sample
