Abstract From December 2003 to October 2005, 30 patients underwent CABG operation. 15 patients underwent OPCA (Group I) and 15 patients underwent conventional on-pump CABG (conventional coronary artery bypass surgery) (Group II). There is No significant statistical difference are regard sex or age with mean age 52.43±7.3 for Group I and 53.2 ± 8.6 for Group II. There is No signification statistical difference between both groups are regard preoperative VCS, NYHA, Smoking and diabetes condition. Also there is No significant statistical difference as regard pre operative Hypertension or Hyper cholesterolaina. Ejection fraction in both groups was good >50% in all cases e No history of previous MI (Mycoardial Infarction). 23 coronary arteries was gifted in Group I while 3a coronary arteries grafted in group II with (PO.01). The proportion of patients with incomplete revisualization in group I was 20% VS. 6.7% in group II (PO.01). As regarding cardiac complications ST segment elevated in 1 patient in group 1 (6.7%) VS 3 patients in group II (20%). Although pulmonary complication in the form of ARDS, chest infection pleural effusion, pneumothorax and Reventilation was more in group II. But it doesn’t reach to significant statistical difference. |
