Abstract
Surveillance and monitoring of al consider the key of the disease prevention and control it consider the early waring system in able to detection an early stage of introduction of the disease into poultry production
Surveillance of al during the period of 1/6/2003 to 10/2/2006 was investigated in this study which covered certain provinces of both lower and upper Egypt was investigated
The incidence of al virus among 18 different governorate of Egypt (EL Behaira ,EL Sharkia ,cairo ,ElGiza ,El Menofia ,El Kaliobio ,El Dakahlia ,Dimiatta ,El Ismailia ,El Gharbia ,Kafer ElSheikh ,south sini ,El Sues ,portside ,ElFayoum ,El Menia ,Aswan and Bani Suif ) from different flock types (layer breeders ,layers ,Drucks and Geese )
The samples (serum ,tracheal and cloacal swabs )were taken from commercial flocks and live brid markets from apparenty healthy birds and brids which suffer from disease signs as (high mortality ,respiratory signs ,nervous signs and drop in egg production
