Abstract

health education has a impact on health care it is considered an important part of the total plan for patient care moreover ,its is effective mean of maintaining patients health AND INCREASING HIS ability for appropriate decision making I the management of own health and illness furthermore ,patients health education has always been integral part of the nursing process ,competency in health education is an expectation or professional nurses and it is a vital requirement for their patients and Nursing practice .furthermore ,the nurse in a key position o enact of the role education ,beacus she deals with patients in a variety of setting with a variety of health problems , Nurses do not fulfilling this role of health education for this reason , Nursing students should be well prepared as health educators and in the light of education preparation for ,the faculties of nursing should focused on maintaining the quality of the curriculum in relation to health education the nursing students are the ones who pass though their clinical training and give patients care they are expected to give patients health education it was observed that Nursing students provide patient teching in a sporadic way with out pacific basis ,so the aim of this study is to patients health education model guide undergraduate Nursing students at the faculty of Nursing of Alexandria .the study illustrates the development and implementation of the developed model In the form of Nursing process which helps the students in providing health teaching at their clinical setting
