Abstract The first part deals with the investigation of five sulfaguanidine Schiff bases by elemental analysis ,IR spectra and 1HNMR spectra .The absorption and emission spectra were also studied .The effect of buffer solution on these Schiff bases visible spectra were also investigation and acid dissociation constant of the compound were determined from the absorbance pH-relation . The second part is concerned with the investigation of metal complexes by stoichiometry in solution and in solid state by elemental analysis ,TGA,IR spectra,1HNMR spectra for Zn(II) ,magnetic , Electronic spectra and ESR spectra . The geometry of the various complexes was classified. The third part is biological activity of complex(8); it was found that (MIC) is 20 mgm/L and its LD50 was 20 mgm/L and the mode of action of complex(8) on the bacteria and fungi studied was also considered |
