Abstract
work was carried out to compare ,the effects of Th epidura 11 analgesia for painless labour using bupivacaine 0.25% either alone or mixed with fentanyl on the course of labour, as well as the condition of the mother and the fetus. A total of one hundred parturients were included in the study, all are ASAI physical status, near or at full term, in well established painful labour, with single fetus with cephalic presentation, cervical dilation less than 7 cm with no pre-epidural FHR evidence of fetal distress.
