Abstract
Wadi el-natrun depression locates approximately in the middle distance between cairo and Alexandria. It is about 500 sq.km area, containing a large group of salt lakes. E.g. EL-Fasda lake and um risha lake, in the southern part of the despression and EL-Hamra and beda lakes in the northern part of the deoression.
