Abstract

The mechanical and physical properties of gamma-maluand NBR, loaded with HAF, FEE-carbon black, or slice as fillers in the presence of different polyfunctional monomerns, namely, N-Methylcar diacrylamide (MD) and Trimethylof propane trimessacrylate (TMPTMA) were studied in this thesis, with the influence of irradiation dose. The obtained results show that the mechanical properties of NBR increase with increasing irradiation dose up to certain dose then decrease, and the addition of fillers improves the physico-mechanical properties of NBR. also polyfunctional monomers improves its physico-mechanical properties especially at low irradiation doses
Also, the properties of acrylonitrile butadiene rubber (NBR) reinforced with HAF carbon black and blended with either polar rubbers, namely polychloroprene (CR) and chlorobutyl rubber (CIIR) or non- polar rubbers, namely Ethylene- propylene diene monomer (EPDM) rubber and styrene butadiene rubber (SBR) are elaborated. The effect of irradiation dose and blend composition on the properties of these blends like mechanical, physical properties and morphology were studied.
