Abstract A CNC machine is an automatic machining which is used to produce user-designed workpieces. As its name implies, it is equipped with a computer-based digital control. CNC Machines offer consistent, accurate, and flexible production of machine workpieces. Nowadays CNC machines are found almost everywhere from a small rural job shop to a large manufacturing cell. Thesis contains comparison between different algorithms and the new proposed algorithm that give more accuracy and highest speed. Intelligent controlling software is designed and integrated in the system using a standard HPGL format. A new communication strategy for optimum utilization of the required integrated memory is introduced and implemented. The new SoC design has achieved an overall resolution of 2 micron in three-dimensional operations. |
