Abstract
The differential cross section for the elastic scattering of deuterons from ’’I? has bee2 studied in the bombarding energy range Ed = 1.2 - 2 05 The excitation function of elastically scattered deuterons born ’’I? was measured at nine scattering angles (from 8 = 60•‹ to 0 = 140•‹). The I9~(d,d)1 93 ? cross section are smooth over the entire energy range and show no clear resonance behaviour. The angula; distributions of elastically scattered deuterons from 191? was measured at energies between 1.5 and 2.4 ?IeVoin 100 HeV steps, The angular distributions do not chenge rapidly with energy. Soine of the angiilar distributions at energies between 1.6 and 2,4 MeV in 200 XeV steps were analysed in terms of the optical model.
