Abstract
A d e t a i l e d three dimensional crystallographic -. study of adanyrin , a member of the o( amyrin series , is the a i m of the present i n v e s t i g a t i o n the derivative chosen f o r that purpose was 0( amyrin benzoate , which c r y s t a l l i z e s i n rectangular transparent colourless prismatic form , The c e l l dimelisions measured from Weissenberg photographs were found t o be a = 6.79 A0 c = 36,78 A0 S y c -:. ..LC absences are : hOO , OkO , 001 f o r odd h , k , 1 , respectively . The space group is concluded to be P 21 21 21 . Abdel Ram A;M. & Ali N. ( 1965 ) carried 01 two dimensional analysis on amyrin benzoate . !!2he parameters ob-lained from this analysis were taken as the s t a r t i n g point f o r t h e d e t a i l e d t h r e e diaensional Four Zek analysis , i n the form of sixteeh sectiorls perpendicular to the ahortedt -is of the unit c e l l ;
