Abstract
There is general agreement between authers t h a t post -tramat i c Trendelenburg gait i n cases of f r a c t u r e neck femur is mainly due t o i n s u f f i c i e n t gluteus medius function as it becomes alack.This is due t o the fact t h a t the distance between the o r i g i n and i n s e r t i o n becomes shorter and the r a t i o between the abductor momentarm and body weight moment arm changed or disturbed away from normal ratios.
