Abstract The present work was performed to study the histological, histochemical and the postnatal developmental changes in the epiphyseal growth plate carlilage of albino rate and to evaluate the effects of hypothyroidism, diabrtes, exacess dose of vitamin D and immobilization on growth plate in the young animals.
