Abstract
Renal transplantation has become the treatment of choice in the management of chronic renal failure. Many serious compl i cations can cause renal failure in the transplanted kidney. In this study we tried to evaluate the role of colour Doppler US in detection of posttransplant compl ications.Our thesis includes 142 cases of kidney transplant recipients; 98 males and 44 females with age ranging between 4-52 years.Dupl ex Doppler sonography was done in a1 1 cases, while US guided biopsy was done in 91 cases, isotope scanning in 31 cases and angiography in 15 cases.
