Abstract
This study was carried out at the Radiation Oncology Unit, Tanta University Hospital and the Radiation Oncology Department at the National Cancer Institute (NCI), Cairo University.Sixty-three patients with malignant major salivary glands tumors were reviewed for clinico-epidemiological study. 41 patients were males, and 22 patients were females.The incidence of the malignant major salivary gland tumor was nearly 0.5% of all malignant cases registered at both departments. The peak age incidence was in the 7th decade of life with a mean age of 48.8 f 16.6 years.
