Abstract The present study included 40 cases of lumbar canal stenosis. The majority of cases were of the combined lumbar canal stenosis type (80%) followed by the degenerative type (12.5%) and the developmental type (7.5%) respectively.The group of combined lumbar canal stenosis entailed patients mostly in the sixth and fifth decades of life (53.12%) and (40.62%) respectively. Cases of the degenerative type fell in the sixth and seventh decades of life. Cases of the developmental type fell between 21-40 years. |
