Abstract
a part of a programme concerns with the design and synthesis of some nitrogen bridge heterocycf i c ring systems and t h e i r r e a c t i v i t y towards d i f f e r e n t organic reagent. The study on d i f f e r e n t s e l e c t e d s u b s t i t u t i o n i n c o r r e l a t - ion with t h e i r biological a c t i v i t y was also considered. F i r s t l y , 7-substituted-2-ayl-3 ,1-4Fi-benzoxazinones(LXVIIa was prepared by the action of 5-substituted anthranilic -d acid with the corresponding benzoyl chloride in the presence of pyridine as a solvent The desired 7-substituted-2-aryl-4 (3H)-quinazolones (LXYIa-f) were obteined by the action of formamide with the corresponding benzoxazinones (LXVII )
