Abstract
The present thesis includes a study of the spectral behaviour of some thiamle azo and azomethine dyes. The study is carried out in organic solvents of different polarities as - - we11 as in aqueous universal buffer s o l u t i o n s . The iavestigati on is carried out using absorption qpectrophot ome.trg in the ultraviolet and Visible regions. The infrared are also utilised in the study of the molecular struohrre of %t;laese dyes. 1 .
