Abstract
Rifampin is one of the most frequently antimicrobial agents used in the treatment of tuberculosis .The hepatic reaction is considered to be the most adverse reaction after the gastrointestinal one. The aim of the present work is to study the histological, histochemical and ultrastructural changes that might occur in the liver after administration of therapeutic and high doses of rifampin .Sixty adult male albino rats were used in this study.
