Abstract
Four groups of subjects were included in this work: 1 - 10 control cases. I1 - 10 diabetics without vascular complications 111- 15 diabetics with acute macrovascular complication (acute myocardial infarction and/or cerebrovascular accident). IV - 15 diabetics with microvascular complications (retinopathy and/or nephropathy). The four groups were subjected to determination of: blood glucose (fasting and one hour after oral glucose load, blood urea, serum creatinine, plasma 6-keto-PGFl* plasma thromboxane B2, and plasma angiote&in I.
