Abstract
The i nvestigation was earried out on 12-year-old ”Roumi Red” grapevines grown i n calcareous soil in El-Noubareia Area during two successive seasons 1986 & 1787. Paclobutrazol was applid as foliar application at 50,100,150,& 200 ppm concentrations . The vines were sprayed two weeks before cap fall . Inaddit in n , two concentrations ( (0.6 and 1.2 ml pp333/ vine ) were used as soi l drench 3 weeks before anticipated bud break.
