Abstract
The targest of this invest%gation were to study the response of yield and its components, growth an& technologial properties of three wheat varieties to different rates of nbtrogen fertllfze~d wfng the %we suhtcesive seasons 1974-73 and 1975-76 under growing conditions prevailing in the PacU%y of Agricatwe Farm at Kafr El-Sheikh, Egypte The semi-81arf varieties Chenab 70 and Mexipak 69 and medium tall variety Giiza IS;$ were used as aafn treatments in-a split-plot design wfth four ~epllaatese Six nitrogen levels 0 , 20, 48, 60, 80 and 100 kg per faddan were used as sub-treatment*
