Abstract
The experimental work of this study was designed to test the efficiency of selection In increasing body weight at 6 ,weeks of age as a marketing age in the Japanese quail . The correlated responses In the other Important traits. Were estimated. Four generations of Japanese quail were Included In this study from which three consecutive generations of selection were carried out. The selection processes occurred In three line or replications to ovoid the error which could be got as a result of random drift when only one selection line is considered.
