Abstract

Two experiments were made or. Mite Pekin ducks pipu latnion the Poultry IZxperimental S t a tion , Faculty of Agriculture, Iiafr El-Sheikh, Tanta University In the first experiment two generations were used seventy tmo females and 12 drakes, 46 weeks of age have been taken at rmdom to be the parent stock for the present study. Eggs were collected aid hatched and ducklings had been considered as the base population Fzmilies with .highe!ler means than population breast meat weigit meal were selecJced ( af tersacri fied ) to be the parects or” the first generation. Three hatchs of about 650 ducklings were obtained from the 11 selected families Broin those,331 ducklings were raised until eight weeks of age when they were sacrified.
