Abstract
A s t u d y on the e f f e c t of crossbreeding and month of b i r t h on the performance of rabbits on the rabbit flock of the Kafr El-Sheikh, Anjmtil productj on Depnrtment, , poultry d i v i s i o n , Facluty of Agr i cul tur e , Tanta Ilniver~tiy , dur ing two seasons from 1985 to 1987. Observations were taken on l i t t e r size, v i a b i l i t y r a t e , body w e i g h t and growth r a t e during the growing period and carcass tra5 t,u jn tihe genet-lc groups. The environmental f a c t o r s affecting of’ theoe traits such as month of b i r t h were also estimated and the data were analyzed by the computer according to Harvey (1960), this method of t h e analy~iso f vas ianoe.
