Abstract

Special i n t s r e s t vias spent to n i t r o u s acid-induced arginil~e mutents The r e s u l t s obtained con be summarized i n the 1- 60 n i t r o u s acid-induced mutants could be obtai~edi n hours a t 25OC . 2- The most e f f i c i e n t concoiltration of n i t r o u s acid as a mutagen vas 0.015ild HdlOp . 3- 0.01X NaN02 produced only other riiut~nts type as well as higher percent~ges of letkcls and revertallt” thm those obtcined by 0.015.d NalT02, 4- The concentration of 0.02.d TaJ02 produced co~nplete l e t h a l i t y in El-. cra ssa coiiidia starved.
