Abstract
The rain 8in of ”cis research work is t o identify the d i f f e r e n t forns of 1;1~gnesiuni n soue Egyptim s o i l s with specicl reference to the non-exchzngeable one . Fourteen repxesentstive s o i l profile were collected f r o n d i f f e r e n t locet ions of lower Egypt t o represent alluvicl, locustrine and cslcar eous s o i l s , The physicel and chemical aiialysis were carried out. Also the chemical fo~nso f aagnesium we r e determined, these forms were cls ssif ied t o : 1- ilk t ex soluble Mg, 2- Exchangeeble Xg, 3- Eon-exchangeeble ~fg, and these forn w@s occurs in three cstegories : a) Organic conplexed Mg, b) ncid-soluble Ihg. c ) diner a 1 Ng ,
