Abstract In this study review of the Literature as regards, the anatomy of the urethra with the development of terminal urethra. The aetiological factors of urinary meatal stenosis with its pathology, and different lines of management used. A random smple of 50 patients of different age groups were carefully examined for the congenital type of urinary meatal stenosis, they were all males. The highest age incidence was found in children in the 1 st decade of life with an average 1.8 years. In 70% of cases of condition was asymptomatic, but in only 30% of cases the mode of presentation was difficulty and weak narrow or bifid stream. A group of 50 patients attended to out-patient clinic for circumcision or revision after circumcision were studied. 8 ca Bes were found to develop post-circumcisional meatal stenosis ( 16% ). |
