Abstract
Hydrocele presents an imbalance between secretory and absorptive capacities of the tunica vaginalis,[6,58] which secreat normally few, clear, straw, serous fluid; [43] it require no treatment unless the patient seeks for it because of pain, discomfort, difficulty in micturation or sexual intercourse, or even cosmotic unsatisfaction. Hydrocelectomy is known since centries, firstly done by removal of the sac together with testes,[7] then by many types of operative procedures, the most common is Lord’s procedure which provided a safe, easy, less complications and effective technique for hydrocelectomy with curative rate approch to 100% in most studies)42,45,69].
