Abstract
The present experiment was conducted at the Turkey Farm of the experiments1 s t a t i o n a t Mehallet Mou-sc, Animal Production Resezrch I n s t i t u t e ; Ministry of Agriculture, Kafr El-Sheikh . Eight hundred and eighty unsexed day old poults and twenty eight turkey lilales, 16 v:eeks of age were used to study : 1 - The d i g e s t i b i l i t y of protein aild &!I3 of some ingredients by turkey . 2 - The effect of feeding different levels of dietmy protein on growth rate 2nd feed efficiency for poults through the s t c r t i n g , growing 2nd finishing periods , 3 - The effect of d i f f e r e n t l e v e l s of energy i n the diets on growth f o r poults from 1 to 8 weeks of nge . 4 - The economic efficiency i n terns of price of feed conswiled from 1 to 24 weeks of age t o %he price of live weight .
