The s-mflouer plants were f o l i a r sprayed viith CCC o r GA 3 at the firnf; and thz socond series of expcrimerlts after 30 deys from planting, 2.owcver in the third series of experiments, the seeds were soaked i n GA3- solut ion concent rat ions for 24- hours before planting. In all the e-rporimnts, e, sglitplot design with four replicates wero used. The two cultivara were allooatcd t o the m,in plots and the levels of gor-;-th regaletors ( CCC or LA 3 ) were desi~nated in the sub-;?lots.
