Abstract
The aim of this work is to evaluate the results of stapedectomy operation done in Tanta Faculty of Medicine.These are the fat and wire technique i n comparison with the teflon prothesis.Fifteen cases of otosclerosis were selected from the out-patient clinic of E.M.T. Department, Tanta Faculty of Medicine,A pure tone audiometery was made pre-operatively and one month post-operatively using Am~livox 103 apparatus.
