Abstract
Enuopion, an inturning of the lid margin, is a common condition.Upperlid entropion is seen more commonly in the developing countries secondary to trachoma infections. Involuntional entmpion of the lower eyelid is caused by aging changes which affected all the lid tissues simultaneously, although various factors can be identified separately. Cicatricial entropion can affect either upper or lower lids and is caused by any disease that leads to scarring and contraction of the posterior lamella of the lid, such as trachoma or chronic conjunctivitis.
