Abstract Rheumatoid is a systemic disease involving many organ system and the heart is frequently involved by the inflammatory process of rheumatoid . There may be inflammation in any or all parts of the heart in rheumatoid patients.Epidimiological studies have suggested that cardiovascular complications account for 25% of death due to rheumatoid disease . Heart lesion were found at autopsy in 55 up to 60% of rheumatoid patients. Cardiac involvement by rheumatoid not frequently diagnosed despite of its high reported prevalence in post raortum studies.Cardiac involvement by rheumatoid may be subclinical (Asymptomatic) or clinically apparent (symptomatic). However there is considerable disagreement concerning the cardiac abnormalities found in patients with rheumatoid.The potential for symptomless cardiac involvement by rheumatoid process documented in patients with rheumatoid indicates that careful cardiac evaluation should be given high priority in the assessment and management of subjects with rheumatoid. |
