Abstract The problem researched in this study was to investigate the effectiveness of paralinguistic and Kinesic features such as facial expression, gesture, proximity, posture, lip setting, appearance, looking, bodily contact and miscella neous paralinguistic features distinguished by hearing in ESL students’ listening comprehension. The study also inves tigated the interactional effectiveness of these paralingui stic features among each others. |
