Abstract
The present investigation was carried out at the experimental farm of the Faculty of Agriculture, Tents University at Kafr El-Shelkh. It consisted of two parts: The first part was devoted to study the effect of soil and foliar application of two nitrogen levels with, and without spraying with f’ulyfertile on growth, yield, yield components and grain protein content during the two seasons of 1980 and 1981. The experimental design was a split split plot with four replicates and the three factors studied were a8 follows:
A- Nitrogen levels imain plots), 1.e. 60 and 80 kg N/fed.
B- Method of nitrogen application (sub plots).
