Abstract
Acute mucopurulent conjncivitis is considered one of the major p ublichealth problems in Egypt ,which affects mainly children of preschool age. It occurs in seasonal outbreaks usually i n spring and autumn. from September, 1985 to January, 1986 , one hundred and twenty cases were randomly collected, from the ophthalmology outpatient clinic of Tanta University Kospital.
