Abstract
Iritable bowei syndrome is the most common gastrointestinal disorders in clinical practice. It is a motor dysfunction consisting of altered bowel habits, abdominal pain, distention and absecence of organic pathology. It is more common in women than in men and occurs in the middle years of life.
